Recruit & Screen Teacher Candidates

  • Two types of teacher recruitment:
    • Provide teachers with only a 120-hour TESL, TEFL, TSOL Certificate, and at minimum a bachelors degree.
    • Typically, these individuals are not specifically native English speakers and have very limited formal teaching experience.
    • Typically, these individuals do not understand different teaching strategies or differentiated learning techniques.
    • Typically, these individuals require a lowered salary.

Provide Teachers with a State Issued Certificate, and possess a minimum of a bachelors degree.

    • These individuals have a formal understanding of how to teach.
    • Understand how to use a curriculum, and how to employ differentiated teaching strategies.
